WORKS ON MANMAO ROAD TO START SOON

Good news for the people of Manmao circle that has been suffering due to bad road conditions that the works on Manmao road will resume soon.
As per the information, the construction of Manmao road has been awarded to a new contractor/company and they will start the work as early as possible.
Earlier, due to delaying of construction, the contract of M/s Valecha was terminated. After the termination a fresh tender was called and now, it has been awarded to a new contractor/company.
The construction of Manmao road got delayed because of fresh tender call.
In between the termination of old company and fresh tender call, the highway department with limited resources was maintaining the road but due to torrential rain and global pandemic the maintenance work got halted and within this period, some part of the road was severely damaged.
The public of Manmao can keep asides their travelling worries now as the new contractor/company will start the work really soon.
In the meantime, MLA Laisam Simai has informed that a new APST bus will be provided for Manmao circle.
Besides applauding the patience of the public, Simai has assured to continue working for the welfare of Manmao public.
