Staff Reporter
Jairampur, Oct 08:

As per the report, the figures of unoccupied teacher quarters is rising day by day in Changlang district. And the empty teacher quarters are deteriorating at faster rate.
Nearly, all the schools in Changlang district has newly built teacher quarters at its adjacent. Unfortunately, 90 perfect of this quarters are unoccupied.
The reason is thar teachers posted to that particular schools prefer staying at the nearby town or thier own houses.
Considering the deterioration of the infrastructures, it is a massive loss of the state government as the buildings are decaying because of non-occupation.
Empty teacher quarters is also a sign that students are being hampered of quality education.
Villagers through SMC has been demanding that teachers should stay at thier schools instead of plying from home or town. But thier plea has not yielded the desired results so far.
