Independent candidates swept the PRI poll in 51st Nampong Assembly constituency

In a shocking result, the three independent candidates won the ZPM posts by beating the candidates of ruling BJP party.
Independent candidate Deptu Mungrey won 14/4 Nampong ZPC by 122 votes, independent candidate Limkon Mossang won 14/5 Manmao ZPC by 45 votes and independent candidate Khimshom Mossang won 14/11 Rima-Putok ZPC by 121 votes.
In the GPM category, 3 independent candidates (Leena Mosang, Sanantu Tikhak and Menmoi Kaisan) and 2 BJP candidates ( Wanglem Ronrang and Liknom Ronrang) won their seat from their respective GPC.
