LOMHOM TANGHA FIRST JOURNALIST AND AUTHOR FROM MUKLOM COMMUNITY

Lomhom Tangha recently grabbed the limelight when his first book, A Conversation With Jesus was released on amazon and became a popular read amidst the bibliophiles of Changlang district.

Being a first time author, he was able to shook the spritual conscience of our people. He was able to connect with the masses through his recently  released book. The spiritual book has accumulated good reviews by the indigenous readers. 

Born in 21 August 1974, Tangha did his schooling from Govt Higher Secondary School, Changlang. He completed B. E (Electrical and Electronics engineering) from Bharathiya university, Coimbatore in 1999. 

In 2013, he completed Master of Divinity from SABC, Bangalore and currently he is pursuing Doctor of Ministry from East Asian Theological Seminary, Anseong, South Korea. 

Tangha originally hails from New Chingsa village and currently he resides near Kharsang town with his wife and two sons, his elder son is 17 years old and the younger one is 12.  

Despite coming from engineering background, he worked as journalist for nearly four years.  From 2014 to 2017 he worked as correspondence for Eastern Today, published in Assam. Simultaneously he has also freelanced for Frontier Daily, a daily newspaper published from Dibrugarh. 

Tangha holds the tag of being the first journalist from his community. He also became the first author to publish a book from his community. 

While serving as a journalist he has highlighted some significant issues that would help the local people in later years. 

Prior to being a scribe he was engaged with tele data informatics for eight months as engineer followed by another eight month stint as Assitant Graduate Teacher under Sarva Shiksa Abhiyan. 

Currently he is engaged as Academic Dean of New Life Bible College, Dobam and Assistant Information and Publicity Secretary under Arunachal Pradesh Christian Revival Church Council, Itanagar.

Revealing about his first book, a cheerful debutant author said that my spritual inclination has totally altered the course of my life, from a frustrated unemployed to a Bible teacher,  I've depicted my personal journey as candidly as I can in this book.  

This book narrates my encounter with God while my life was traversing through a difficult phases. I've shared the truth of my life without any exaggeration or manipulation, he added.
